Appalled from Connecticut
"Returned from dinner to find roaches in the bathroom (took digital pictures). Front desk was surprised at our complaint as they indicated there was no infestation in the hotel for the past six months. Moved us to another room to find roaches clawing on ceiling (took additional pictures). Front desk staff shocked at the pictures and moved us to a third room, it was now 1am. Woke up to no cold water to regulate shower. When maintenance evaluated problem, he indicated that the reason we had no cold water was that it was HOT outside. Since that an unacceptable answer to me, I requested to speak with hotel manager. Manager was not able to be located up to the time we left the hotel for our visit to Williamsburg. Our situation was obviously not a priority to the hotel manager as he didn't return my call until 1pm that afternoon. He apologized for the inconvenience and indicated that he would refund one nights stay at checkout. He was not interested to view our pictures! I called the Corporate Office for the CHOICE HOTEL chain only to report the problem to a trained Customer Service desk, with no followup by that Organization to us in the 3 weeks since our stay. This is a classic example of Profit before People! I do not recommend staying at the Comfort Inn on Bypass Road in Williamsburg, VA."

I would not stay here again.
"We had a non-smoking room. It smelled badly of cigarette fumes. We were on the second floor. There was a roach in our bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was good."
