The hotel's location was praised by many guests. They described it as central, and close to Broadway at the Beach, public transit, the beach, Palace Theater, restaurants, the airport and shopping. A few lodgers complained the hotel wasn't located directly on the beach, however.
Numerous reviewers were pleased with the level of customer service they received, characterizing the staff as efficient, helpful, professional and friendly. One guest remarked, "From the second we walked in, the staff was AMAZING. Front desk, Valet, Concierge, bartender. Never had such friendly service before".
Several lodgers enjoyed the hotel's accommodations. They found their rooms to be clean, modern, quiet and spacious, with great ocean views and comfortable beds. A few travellers were disappointed with their rooms, however (see below).
