Numerous guests praised the hotel's location, and found it to be close to restaurants, shopping, attractions and the boardwalk. One lodger remarked, "The location of Camelot is perfect! We basically walked to everything (bars, shopping, dining, etc.".
The hotel's staff were complimented by many reviewers, and were characterized as friendly, attentive and helpful. One guest stated, "The staff called frequently to be sure our needs were met. I have never had this experience at any other hotel".
Several lodgers were pleased with the hotel's accommodations. They described their rooms as clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated, with beautiful ocean views. It should be noted, however, that some guests were disappointed with their rooms (see below).

Noise disturbances were reported by a few guests during their stays. They described noise from the parking garage, street noise, noise in rooms located near the elevators, plumbing noise and loud guests partying late at night.
A few lodgers had issues with the parking garage, which they found to be quite narrow with tight spaces.
