Times Square is a 3-minute drive or a 10-minute walk away, as is the Theatre District and many local restaurants.

The GoodMost guests appreciated the hotel's location in regards to Manhattan's various attractions. Many guests felt the location justified the price despite other shortcomings. Many guests suggested this hotel would work for people who would be out most of the time and only returning to the room to sleep.
Many guests were pleased with the attentiveness and general attitude of the staff. Some guests who had issues like needing to change rooms felt they were well accommodated. Many people had good things to say about the concierge staff as well.
Many reviewers found little problem with the beds. They were said to be comfortable and provided reviewers with restful sleep.
The Bad
Some guests complained about the sluggishness of the elevators, and a few also said that they were also small. One guest claimed to have a 20-minute wait.
Some guests felt the guest rooms and common areas were dated and in need of an update. Things like refreshing paint and new rugs were mentioned specifically. Some guests also felt the rooms were a bit small and were a little put off by the lack of some amenities, such as free Wi-Fi.
A few guests had issues with the cleanliness of the common areas.
At the time of this review, there was construction going on to the outside of the hotel and many guests had issues with that, saying it took away from the look of the hotel and provided obstacles while going inside. A few guests also said the sound of construction woke them early. Asking for a quiet room is recommended, as is calling the hotel to inquire about construction for the dates of your planned stay.
