Guest Recommendations
"Usually when breakfast is included it means danish or bagels and luke-warm coffee. Not in this case, omelettes made to order, wow! Managers reception each evening was a nice ending to a day of sightseeing and shopping before going out to dinner. The staff was extra accommodating, especially getting us (5 "girls" came to shop til they dropped) taxi's in the rain. Room was very good but because we were on a budget and too cheap to get 2 rooms we were crowded but even that made it more fun. Beds very comfortable. Lunch on the harbor across the street at PJ's, super. Very convenient location. It was also the first time for four of us to visit Ground Zero and that made it more special. If only we could have managed to have perfect weather. Would highly recommend."

"I usually stay somewhere in the Upper West Side. So this hotel was a bit of a shock for me. It felt like no venitlation, furniture looked out dated, carpet looked like it was for a child's room just like the art work. No service. No maids going around asking you if you need anything. The lobby is crudely painted, and the little bit of furniture that is there is terrible. Once the building outside is errected they won't even have a harbor view Very disappointed over all. Next time I will be stayin on the Upper West Side again."

"ONLY for BIZ customers needed t be near the Financial District. Families looking for a way to 'visit NY' -- cannot imagne why they would want to stay at this location -- at $400/nite -- it cannot be THAT much cheaper than some other hotels that may require nearly identical traveling requirements to get to the 'sites to see'. "Where do I begin...It was a fabulous stay. Willy , the first person to greet us at the door really set the tone of the stay...and continued to greet us during our stay. The desk was friendly, honest and professional. The house keeping staff kept our room looking spick and spam! The only comment was the ironing board is a hazard waiting to happen-our 15 year old simply opened the door of it and bam it hit him in the face-quite scarry! No blood but it could have been more serious-please re-think the locking mechanism-if the previous person to stay in the room doesn't lock it very securely, it does fall right out, and it did. You may want to have a warning posted on the front of the ironing board door that stores it in the wall. My children will attest to the great view of the elevators on the 15th floor. Hay is it happy hour yet-we sure could use one again. We'll be back-"

"I've stayed in so many hotels in the city where the staff just does there job and the staff at this hotel were very nice and went out of there way to be polite and helpful. I also loved the beds, so many hotels forget about making the beds comfortable! The only drawback was the accessability to shopping and restaurants."

"Brand New and a Good Size 2-Room suite for a price that is unheard of anywhere else in Manhattan. The free breakfast alone cost 1/3 the room rate you'd pay anywhere else in town. Staff was attentive and the service was as good if not better than the time square palace I stayed at the year before at 3 times (no exaggeration) the price. Hi-speed internet plus wet bar and refrig in room. Brand new stadium seating movie theatre in the complex. All in all this hotel is a gem and you get to thumb your nose at Osama by staying within 1 block of ground zero to boot. On my scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being best . . . a definite 9+"
