"We were informed that check-in time was 3:00pm. We arrived at the hotel at 3:10, I gave the clerk my name she look it up in the computer and told me that there were no rooms ready right now in a rude manner and she turn her face away from me as she continued look into her monitor. She did not offer an apology or ask me to have seat at least while I wait for the next available room. When she looked up and saw I was still standing there she ask me can she help me with anything else and the expression on her face was as if my presence was bothering her and I answered her no. As I proceeded to sit down in the lobby the other guest that were coming in and they were their given rooms. Once I saw the clerk giving the other guest the keys to their room and telling them they're all set, I ask them well, how come they're getting their rooms if the rooms are not ready and I have reservation which I booked months ago. The clerk gave me this lame excuse that they were fully book the night before and that those rooms were different from the room we paid for and the staff are working on them now. So what she made me understand is that if I would've book a suite It would have been ready first When they finally call us to give us the key to the room which was about 3:30, I was commenting to the other clerk who gave me the my key that I had never been treat like this before and I been to other hotel before and her respond was that it summer time and is the busiest time and I explain to her that most of my stays in hotels have been in the summer time and I've never been through anything like this. So she asked me If I was ever asked for my credit card before. I felt that she was belitering me. In my opinion their staff at the front desk needs a crash course on communication and customer service. They were not professional and the attitude left alot to be desired."

"THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS I FEEL THE RATE WAS WAY TOO HIGH CLOSE TO $200 FOR ONE NIGHT ON THE HIGHWAY? EVERYTING WAS FINE EXCEPT I FELT SHOWER WAS ALITTLE RUN DOWN! AMT"

"My Comments are as follows....... 1. I had a guest stay in the room under my name....There was too much paper work involved in handling this process...I thought that the price of the room far exceeded what the Holiday Inn should have charged for the size and the overall amenities of the hotel...small pool area...small work out room....bar and restaurant were combined... There was also too much noice overheard from the other patrons...... I would never recommend anyone to stay in the Holiday Inn in Toms River NJ>>>..I would recommend the Quality Inn or Howard Johnsons instead. I only live 500 feet from the hotel and was very dissapointed in the level of service provided by the hotel desk staff......"
