"We had a real problem - my daughter's luggage was delayed (flying from Toronto on United). The airlines told us that it would be delivered that same night at 11h00. We never received it that night, the next morning we phoned the front desk 4 times to enquire about it, then started fighting with the airlines - even phoned the headquarters where an airline supervisor found out that the bag was delivered the previous night but the hotel personell never went to the trouble to look for it properly wherever it was put BY THE HOTEL STAFF. My husband refused to pay for the room for the night because of this - and they allowed this. BUT: Also my new tailored pants were ripped in the bedroom by nails sticking out from the chair corners - which the hotel offered to pay for - US$38.00 In the end they just allowed the deduction of the one room rate for the night, but included the cost of the pants in the night's rate. More than the money it is just outrageous the way the staff performed - We are members of Sheraton Preferred Guests."
