The hotel's staff were the source of numerous compliments by guests, who found them to be helpful, friendly and efficient. One reviewer remarked, "The staff is one of the best I have seen at any Marriott properties; I genuinely felt welcomed and the staff truly seemed to care about the needs of the guests".
Many lodgers were pleased with the hotel's location. They described it as easily accessible and safe, as well as close to highway access, the airport, Panthers Stadium, the South Park area and and downtown Charlotte. One patron noted, "There are a couple of other Marriott branded hotels slightly closer to the airport that I have stayed at in the past, but this one is definitely worth the extra 3-5 minute drive. The hotel also has easy access to interstate 77 which makes getting around extremely convenient".
