"Both nights we complained to the front desk about a group of people in three rooms around us. The noise, cussing, loudness and uses of the n word was terrible. The first night it was 1 a.m. before it got quiet. Saturday night it started about 10:30 p.m. and quit around 3 a.m. The police was there but it got loud after they left. Both morning the were pounding on the doors at 7 a.m. telling everyone to get up, " they were in Kansas City and they should not be sleping." The hotel manager was not very concerned, His comment to us was, " we called the police when we heard the fighting." He did not offer to do anything to make admends. After we left the hotel we did call 1 800 Marriott and share our feeling with them. I will not go back nor will I recommend their hotel. I plan on telling all my friends and family about the terrible stay and tell them to avoid the chain. We had planned for a fun week end of shopping and just a get away from kids and grandkids. The week end turned out to be more exhausting because of the lack of sleep. Both my daughter and I were not happy about this experience. I work in a service field. They need to take care of customers and make sure they are pleased with the service they provide. The manager was a little short and was not willing to do anything."
