The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the Mayo Clinic, which is why we where there. They also have free breakfasts, which is nice. I have stayed here several times (price & convenience), but each time I am disappointed with the upkeep. Rooms are not as clean as they could be, and we had standing water in our air conditioner/heater the last two times, which doesn't seem sanitary to me. This place would be vastly improved with a facelift and better upkeep.

The Kahler Exec Suites was a perfect location for a patient of the Mayo Clinic. The restaraurnt was very good, value was decent, service was very friendly...as was the staff. There is a complimentary continental breakfast each morning. It seemed to be a good destination for family reunions, youth sports teams, or other patients at the Mayo. I traveled with my 21 yr old daughter, and we were both taken by how friendly everyone was. I was pleased to have found the discount at Hotels-123.com.

There are only two exercise bikes. The one in which you sit as if on a normal bike is almost impossible to pedal. The one in which you sit as if in a wagon cannot be adjusted to make the pedaling more difficult. I would have liked either more bikes or that these two were in workable condition. As in a previous visit, soap and shampoo are not dispensed to the room on a daily basis when it is cleaned. I figure I am paying for it and would like to receive it. It would be nice if they returned to offering fresh fruit with the free breakfast. Thank you for listening.
