Numerous guests praised the hotel's location. They found it close to shopping, restaurants, public transit, Boston Common, parks, Chinatown, Tufts Medical Center and Fenway Park.
Many reviewers were impressed with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as spacious, clean, quiet and well equipped, with great bathroom toiletries, comfortable beds and great city views. There were a few complaints about the rooms, however (see below).
The hotel's staff were the source of several compliments by travellers, who characterized them as helpful, friendly and professional.
