"This is the second time we have stayed at the Iberville Suites. On this occasion the room was looking tired. The furniture in particular was in need of some refurbishment, with ring stains from cups and chips and dents in top surfaces. Why do all hotels not protect their table tops with glass? The inclusive breakfast is now "continental" in style rather than a hot buffet which it was previously and all plates, cups and cutlery are disposable plastic or styrofoam. This hotel is connected to the Ritz Carlton and in theory it is possible to order services and restaurant reservations via your room phone. However we found that in practice we had to leave messages on automatic answer phones or in some cases the call just went dead. The public rooms are nicely appointed and the bell men are friendly and helpful. To bring it back to a good standard it just needs some attention to detail and some refurbishment of the bedrooms."

"I was disappointed that everything came with a price. Using the Internet cost $10 a day or $4/15min at the business center in the Ritz. Also, there was no restaurant or bar or fitness center or business center, so to use these otherwise common amenities, I would have go to the Ritz-Carlton and pay for them. Given the list price (in excess of what I paid for) of the average room, the only benefits were the proximity to the French Quarter and having very nice people greeting and helping you. In sum, Iberville Suites has alot of potential when it comes to entertaining/accommodating guests."
