"There were bugs in the room that seem to come from gap in the sides and bottom of the door. If this was fixed - it would have been perfect! And that says alot since my husband and I usually stay at 5 star hotels. The Customer Service is magical and we are thinking of becoming part of the Vacation Club now. And planning next year's trip with the kids."

"1. We had to wait in line for over 30 minutes just to check in. Then it took over 15 minutes to complete the paperwork for a one-night stay. We are locals who didn't want to drive home from EPCOT late at night. The good news is we could check in early. 2. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. 3. Everything else was fine."

"It started out rough the girl at the check in desk gave me the wrong building #, she was very slow to have that mistake happen. Check in took way too long; more than half an hour. I spent the next hour trying to find our room as she circled the wrong building on the map. That part put a damper on our stay as we had been on the road with 2 young children."

"I think that there should be queen size beds instead of all these double beds. My husbands double bed the sheets were dirty with stains on them. The beds need to be cleaned better in the room. Other than that everything else was ok. Thanks"

"Very bureaucratic management system--I had made reservations for 2 rooms under my name, and I had to give a name for the main party of the second room, I gave my father's name who I thought would be staying with me. When he cancelled, I decided to let a friend stay in that room. When I checked in, hotel management wouldn't let me change the name of the main party in the second room and wouldn't let my friend check in--even though I had made the reservations and the charges for both rooms were on my credit card. Very inconvenient"

"A hustle to check in, than to get to our building, and to find our room. Parking lot was so busy there was hardly any space left-we had to hike everywhere with a toddler and our luggage. Hard to find a convenience store or a casual restaurant nearby. On site food was a rip off and very bad-and nearby "Downtown Disney" reastaurants expensive and hard to get into. On site kids attractions may be fun for bigger kids, but nothing to do for little ones. Over all was clean and close to attractions, but there are plenty of other hotels nearby that can offer the same."

"I had a medical emergency and the staff could not have done enough for me and my family. I'm sure no one wants anything to happen but if it ever does the staff at Pop Century were fantastic."

"The only thing that made me feel uncomfortable was the food. As you are receiving so many hispanic visitors, you should add more variety to your menus. Food from our countries is very delicious and likes to everyone."

"Yes, I loved your hotel.....the service was excellent. We transferred to Port Orleans after 4 days at your hotel and wish we would of stayed. Port Orleans was expensive the help was awful, unfriendly and snobby. I will recommend your hotel to my friends definetly......."

"Food in food court definitely needs improvement. More healthy choices necessary, and cost was not just expensive, it was exorbitant. Hotel, however was extremely clean and definitely worth it, despite the food."

"Bring a hair dryer as they aren't in the room. Buy the POP cup for refills during your stay... and the food in the Classic Hall is very good and more reasonable than I remember Disney being in the past."

"I was in Orlando on business for the Florida Educational Technology Conference. Sixteen teachers attended and stayed at Pop Century. It met our needs for a reasonable hotel at budget prices. We liked the convenience of the food court. Prices were high; quality not that great. Many teachers said they would return with families. I thought the rooms were a little small for families and very little amenities in the room. But,the price was right. I think the value resorts meets the needs of families on a budget."
Verified Guest from Canton, OH US rated Disney's Pop Century Resort 8 out of 10 on January 30, 2005
"The hotel is very plain. They've got nice pools, but not much else. The television only gets local channels and those stations owned by Disney. If you plan on leaving your car parked, they have a great shuttle system to other Disney locations. However, that means you are held hostage to their food and the prices that come with it. Their food is very "blah", and their prices are quite high. (Over $12 for breakfast for one) One of the member's of my group went looking for coffee, as most hotels have it free in the room or lobby, but not Disney Pop Century. To get a cup of coffee, he had to buy a Pop Century Mug which cost him over $12. That's one expensive coffee. Now, to be fair, he could have refilled that mug as many times as he would like with coffee, soda-pop, etc., so if you are staying for a long period of time, this could be a good deal for you. But, for all those on short stays, there is no option. I was issued a handi-capped room that had no tub and wasn't asked if this was alright. To make matters worse, every time I used the shower the bathroom floor would flood because the drain wasn't working properly. I will say I was given another room when I asked. In fact, I found the resort staff to be very friendly and helpful, although the management wouldn't allow them to make certain simple accomodations. Overall, the Pop Century Resort is OK, but not great and certainly not economical."

"Having to walk halfway through the complex each morning for a cup of coffee and being forced to buy a mug for 10+ dollars rather than being able to get up and start with coffee in the room. No internet. I will not be back."

"I travelled with my family quite often to resorts throughout Florida and if there is one thing I never understood is the price of bottled water, soda and beer. How astronomically high they can be at hotels and resorts.! I never understood why. If the logistics to get them there were difficult and if they had to travel far to be available I would understand the high cost of it, but they are available at any corner in this Country and the prices are abusively high.Innsome cases bottled water is more expensive than soda !!!"
