The GoodThe front desk was cited by many guests as being excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. These guests felt the few issues they had were quickly addressed by the hotel staff.
Most guests were happy with the decor and furnishings throughout the hotel.
Most guests enjoyed the fact that this hotel offers access to the beach and provides guests (for a daily fee) two beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella to use. This property also has a pool on site and is close to many of the attractions of South Beach.
Many guests were pleased with the complimentary bath products provided in their guestrooms.
The Bad
Overall, guests complained about the soundproofing through the hotel (able to hear their neighbors, people in the hall and in some rare cases, people on other floors), but a few guests who had rooms near SL Miami, recommended that guests for whom sleep is imperative, ask to not be placed in this area.
Most guests had few complaints with the front desk staff, though a few guests reported difficulties with check-in. However, there were issues reported with service in the other parts of the hotel. A few guests said the service in the on-site restaurant and the pool were lacking. Some guests also felt the prices at the on-site restaurant were a bit steep.
Some guests claimed there was an issue with their bills. They say they were overcharged for some items or charged extra fees without prior notice.
