I would stay again...not your Holiday Inn
"The price for the hotel was good, but it's because we went on off season. I wouldn't pay the $150+ normal rate. They charge that because it's right on the beach. Cheap rates are good. The customer service was good. However, the rooms need updating, the fan in the bathroom could use a good cleaning. The floor could use updating, painting & a coffee pot. It would be nice to put ice machines on floors instead of in the basement where it's smelly & dark. The tiki bar is a nice view to the beach, but expensive! But, the balcony was nice, homey room and near great location. I would stay again & worth a cheap rate for the beach. I wouldn't say it was the worst place ever! Better than Ocean Sky Resort which is next door! Just make sure you call this hotel for any extra fees such as valet parking which is a must and resort fees. They fail to tell you these fees."

"Large piece of plaster was missing from ceiling in our room. One light switch (the one at the door) and one electrical outlet had no covers on them. Closet in the living area, was being used as a storage area (cans of paint)-- the doors were broken and hanging off and were padlocked together. No phone or clock in the bedroom. Oil lamp-type electrical room freshener plugged in -- in the bathroom--Have they not heard that these are a fire hazard??? Light switches didn't work 1/2 the time. Couldn't open the glass doors to the balcony to enjoy the ocean. Window shades in the bedroom were faulty. No hot water in the shower (lukewarm at best)."
