Indifferent service, expensive and poor rooms.
"I booked a room with a view towards the port but this was not provided so I ended up with one overlooking the car park and the rubbish skips! The receptionist on arrival was bad tempered and unhelpful. The allocated room was spacious but the furnishings were of a poor standard with some of the leather furniture ripped and marked. The room was not very clean with a dead insect in the toilet and dust layers on the shutters. No milk, tea or sugar provided with the coffee making facilities. The evening meal and drinks in the bar was okay but the place was empty, lacked atmosphere and was expensive. The $21+tax car park fee was not included in the nightly rate. The hotel was convenient for the Avis car hire return, but otherwise there is little else of interest in the vicinity. I payed a premium rate for a very mediocre stay."
