"We stayed in the new "Bay View" section and it was excellent. The older section looked dated from the outside but we didn't really see the rooms."

"Loved San Diego, & this hotel is in a prime location, with Seaworld on the doorstep and beautiful beaches.Has a new & impressive reception/foyer and the Blue pearl restaraunt is superb quality and value. The hotel has 2 sides, a brand new beautifully oppulant side with balconies overlooking the Marina(Expensive), and the older block style rooms. We stayed in older part, but still loved it. Try to get room away from pool though, as it can be a bit noisy."
