"Two out of 4 mornings, my wake up call came an hour early. Hotel's exterior and Parking areas were filthy. My room was marginal, not that the sink, shower and sheets weren't clean, but in that the walls needed paint, furniture was grimey, everything was stained and the room smelled. It seems as though some people are living there on a permanent, or semi-permanent basis, and I listen to people slamming doors, shouting obscenities and yelling in spanish well past midnight each night. I'm glad I was alone. If my wife had joined me on this trip, I would have had to have moved to another hotel. The price wasn't that much lower than other nearby hotels, that were nicer and closer to the convention center. In a nutshell, no, I'd never stay at Long Beach TravelLodge Convention Center again, unless I absolutely had to."
