"Free wireless data network with excellent speed. Visually nice property, the breakfast buffet was good and the view was excellent."

"Awkward location of the television in relation to the beds. "Free" high-speed internet access inaccessible/no where to be found. There was no router in the room, and the front desk did not seem to know much about it. Also, the automated wake-up call function on the phone did not work. Luckily, I also set the alarm clock as a back-up! Lastly, I had booked an ocean view room, which was not what I got. I only had a small view of the ocean and harbor from one small location in the room. Not my best hotel experience..."

"I became ill during my first night there, and had to spend an entire day and a half in bed. There was a prostitute in the room next door that kept waking me up. At first I thought it was honeymooners, but later on I heard a screaming phone conversation in which she blamed the other party for the fact that she was still "tricking". I also was treated to a number of obscenities and discussions of whores and child molestors. I was too ill to be moved, and I was concerned that a complaint would result in more noise as this obviously deranged person was confronted. I also knew that she would know that it was one of her two neighbors that complained, and I was on the bottom floor with adjacent patios and sliding glass doors. Additionally, I heard the woman screaming at someone at one point to "get out of my house", and also heard the official sounds of a walkee - talkee, so thought that perhaps the hotel was aware of the problem and was working to resolve it. I was really so sick that I could not think very clearly. I mentioned to room service that no one should be put in my room until the "situation" in the adjacent room was resolved. The room service staff member conceded that the woman next door was "crazy". When I checked out and mentioned the situation to the desk clerk, he claimed that this was the first he had heard of a problem, which I find hard to believe."

"Coast Long Beach Hotel Wonderful view of the water around and the skyline of downtown Long Beach. Walking distance to Queen Mary along attractive waterside path. Dining at hotel with view and at a nearby upscale restaurant. Aquabus with connections to downtown long beach stops at the hotel. This is extremely convenient."
