The hotel's location was praised by many lodgers. They found it central and close to Marine Stadium Park, downtown Long Beach, Disneyland, restaurants, shopping, the beach, Long Beach Marina and the airport.
Numerous reviewers were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, spacious, quiet, well equipped and well maintained, with beautiful ocean views and comfortable beds. A few patrons had complaints about their lodgings, however (see below).
