"Lobby and halls of our building were filthy. Employees were sitting around smoking as if it was their break room. The room itself was ok, except for lumpy pillows and the carpet was stained. I didn't want to go barefoot on the floor. When we brought the lobby condition and smoking employees to the desk clerk's attention the next morning, the clerk was more interested in convincing us there weren't any employees on duty at that time than in apologizing to us. As these people were dressed in Day's Inn teeshirts, I have to assume they were employees."
