"A restaurant within the hotel provided a breakfast buffet - it was not of high quality and colored my perception of our stay. Food was heavy, overcooked and ran out both days before the end of the breakfast period. Reception staff helpful and friendly."

"This hotel scared me from the moment we walked in the door. It looked like something out of the 1970s. The rooms were so small--it was like staying in a cube. The blanket on the bed was so old--clearly not changed since the 1970s. The bathroom looked dirty. I could smell smoke in my room, and I was in a non-smoking area. The people working at the desk looked messy and unprofessional. The breakfast was disgusting--the butter was clearly old and reused several times--there were actual old crumbs in it!!! Even though it was free, we did not eat there. This hotel needs some new management and revamping. It became the joke of our entire trip because it was so expensive, but so terrible!"

"Customer service was not the issue at this hotel--however, the condition of the room was. The pillowcases were clean but had stains on them and the door handle to the bathroom was not installed properly so one could see through the handle from the bathroom into the adjoining room. The bedding and carpet were worn out and outdated and the decor showed the years. Moreover, the complimentary breakfast was extrememly unpalatable. For example, instead of individually sealed butter packets, there was a tub of communal margarine that had toast crumbs actually mixed in, appearing to be the same margarine that had been dipped in and used all week by patrons before me. Considering all of these factors in comparison to the price, the hotel stay at the Aladdin Inn was very unpleasant."
