"We thought that the location of the hotel and the continental breakfast were superb. However, we didn't feel that the beds were really queen size, which made for uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, and the total cost of our stay was higher than we had estimated by $150. We would recommend the Inn of the Governors to others, but we would also state what we consider to be the not-so positive aspects too."

"At the Inn of the Governors, the ambience ends at the lobby. Our "upgraded" room featured a curious mix of vintage furniture and cheap modern accessories, with no attempt to maintain the architectural integrity of the building -- and certainly neither fireplace nor courtyard. We were deeply disappointed."
