"1) Had us in a smoking rm. (req. NS -- but did find us a room on the 2nd fl. which is very difficult to access, with my shoulder disability I found it hard to haul luggage up the steps. 2)Room needed cleaning-old dirt/grime under and along side bed.3)Headed to pool passing by front desk clerk. Upon entering pool area, not even a rack with towels, they are issued at the desk. Never asked us if we wanted a towel when passing by either. Needless to say towels, pillows, etc. were of a premium. Even amenities in room were not stocked. All we had for a smoke detector was a wire on the wall. Evening clerk was more worried about sticking her head out the back door to smoke than attending to her desk. Continental breakfast was marginal. Was not stocked and has been reduced in size of selections since our last stay. I don't usually have so much to say but think this location can improve. It is not the overall chain's problem."
