"We were very comfortable staying here. The only 3 real complaints we have were that: 1) the drinking glasses that were in our room didn't appear to be the absolute cleanest (finger printed, a bit of crust maybe from hard water, very spotty) - however with a simple polite call to the front desk, we were sent up a few more that were much better. 2) there are railroad tracks pretty nearby... so 3 times during our one evening/night stay here, between 7pm & 7am, we heard or were woken by somewhat loud train whistles. I'm a pretty sound sleeper and have an advantage with having a prodominent hearing loss in one ear (I sleep on my good side to block out sounds) so it didn't bother me. My husband, on the other hand, is not used to a lot of loud noises when he sleeps but was woken up once by the train. 3) Unlike many hotels, there was no list of pizza delivery places in our rooms "welcome book". There is a steakhouse resturant on the hotels 16th floor - BUT would you pay $26.95 for an 8-ounce steak???? needless to say, we looked up pizza places for ourselves."

"Very nice hotel but the food service is a bit strange. No sandwich or lite fair after 5:00pm. Great restaraunt on the top floor but I think the bar is a little confused on its location. $10.00 for drink is New York City pricing, not middle of nowhere Michigan pricing."
