"This will probably sound childish but my husband looks forward to the fresh cookies when we check in at a Hampton Inn. They are always there except at the Corbin Hampton Inn. We stay there twice a year. When we went through in Dec. 2003, he asked about the cookies since none were out. The woman behind the desk snarled that she was too busy to bake them. She wasn't very busy at all. We came back through there again, Thursday, May 7th, 2004, and the same woman was at the desk and once again, she said she was too busy to put the cookies in. She really wasn't very busy this time either. She also told us we aren't in the system, in spite of the fact, we are Hilton Club members. She said she could look it up but didn't. The rest of the staff was great. The ladies in charge of breakfast the next morning couldn't have been nicer. The desk clerk the next day was so nice. It's funny we got this questionaire just now, because we were planning to complain about this particular desk clerk. We don't know her name but thought maybe you could see who was on the evenings we were there. Although other people were checking for cookies too, the lack of cookies is just the tip of the iceberg. In the mornings at the Corbin Hampton Inn, the service is great. The breakfast is very nice, with a nice variety of breakfast foods. In the evenings, when this particular woman is on duty, this Inn is a hostile environment. Thank you, Shelby Neely 1427 Community Road Emlenton, Pa 16373"
