"A couple of items. The continental breakfast needed some work. We had to ask on a couple of times for items to be replenished. We also had a horrible experience with the desk clerk, Lynn, when we were checking out of the hotel. We originally had reservations for three rooms. We cancelled one of the reservations Thursday night prior to our planned stay on Saturday night. Two of the rooms were reserved under our name, Kevin Russ and the other room was under Warren Wall. We cancelled the Wall reservation. When we checked into the hotel. We checked into rooms 325 and 327. When we were checking out on Sunday since rooms 325 and 327 were under my name I payed for both rooms. I have the paid receipts for rooms 325 and 327. Our friends the Wall's did not know that I had checked us out and paid for rooms 325 and 327. The Wall's were at the reservation desk thinking they needed to check out and your employee Lynn tried to charge them for the room we had cancelled on Thursday. I came up to the desk when the Wall's were dealing with Lynn. I showed Lynn the two paid receipts for the room we occupied. Lynn insisted that we were going to be charged for the third room since she claimed she could not find any documentation that the third room was cancelled. To make a very long story shorter than it has already been described. Lynn was verbally abusive to the Wall's and to myself. She claimed that there was nothing that she could do and we were going to be charged for the room that was cancelled. We ultimately were not charged for the third room. The experience with how we were treated by Lynn will impact whether or not we stay with La Quinta in the future. Best regards, Kevin Russ"
