"Ocean view is not accurate. More Koi pond, loud road, local swimming hole, bay, then peak at ocean. Very noisy on this side of the hotel. Cleaning staff comfortable with throwing away our personal items. Needs a new bed. One CD played in the restaurant during our four day stay. No cooperaton with sister hotels. Choose something else. If you do stay, beware of slippery tile and many difficult steps to upper level rooms."

"This is an older place, but has been kept in good shape. Everything was very clean. For us, we just needed a good place to sleep and cleanup after site seeing all day, and this place was perfect. The rate was inexpensive and close to the airport and volcano. The room was small, but had two queen beds, a TV with cable channels, and a clean bathroom and shower. In our case, we got coupons for $10 off breakfast. The breakfast special was only $4 each."
