"We stayed at the motel with a young child and a small dog. We choose the motel as it was advertised as pet friendly. On arrival I noticed how dirty the chairs in the waiting area near the reception desk were. They looked not only worn but really dirty. Then we were placed in a room directly behind the reception desk. I informed the lady at reception that the room would not work as the dog would react to all the noise. She informed me that dogs were only permitted on the first floor and she had no other rooms available. All night long we heard other guests arriving, the telephone ringing and the T.V in the lobby. The dog became very nervous with all the noise and as a result we got zero sleep. I strongly feel that they should not rent this room to guests at all. It is not suitable for guests. In particular it is not suitable when there is a pet involved. Clearly the motel is not pet "friendly". More thought should be put into the rooms pets are allowed into. The first floor with all the noise is not a good idea. In addition, I found a pair of old pajamas on the back of the bathroom door from a previous guest. Overall - not a good feeling to be a guest at the motel. "
