"The hotel was quite expensive given the accommodations! It was dirty, old, and worn-out. The breakfast was lame, no belgian waffles as the hotel website had mentioned. Basically, just some bananas, apples, packaged muffins, etc. There wasn't anything to speak of in walking distance of the hotel. If we were to go again and wanted to stay on the beach in Huntington Beach, we would stay two or three miles south at one of the other hotels. However, I wouldn't be afraid to stay a little inland. There are many hotels available within a couple of miles from the beach that are more reasonable. Also, plenty of parking near the beach, it might cost you $5 to $10 to park, but you will easily save that money in your hotel cost."
