Brannan Cottage Inn

This charming Victorian Wine Country Bed and Breakfast, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1860 by Samuel Brannan, Calistoga's founder and one of California's early entrepreneurs. Of the original 25 cottages at his original Calistoga Hot Springs Resort, only three remain and the Inn has the only cottage remaining at its original location according to the town layout developed by Brannan.This Napa Valley bed & breakfast is located in the small, comfortable town of Calistoga, about 25 miles north of Napa at the top of the wine country. Guests at the Inn have easy access to all Napa Valley wineries, the three wine regions in Sonoma County (Sonoma Valley, Alexander Valley, and Russian River Valley) to the west and northwest, and the burgeoning Lake County region to the north.Distinguished by its intricate gingerbread, gable-board and scalloped ridge cresting, the bed and breakfast features a broad wraparound porch and a private courtyard surrounded by ornamental gardens, with two separate lawn areas. We have a total of six rooms: three standard one bedroom units, one deluxe one bedroom unit, and two mini-suites with sitting rooms (each of which can sleep up to four guests). All rooms have queen size beds and private baths and entrance/exits. Five of the six also have ceiling fans and fireplaces. We offer a full breakfast each morning. The Inn is available for small meetings and special events year round, with outdoor facilities available in warmer months.
