Many reviewers were impressed with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as spacious, clean, modern, well laid-out and quiet, with tasteful decor, comfortable beds and nice views of the Amstel Canal.
The hotel's staff were the source of numerous compliments by lodgers, who found them to be friendly, helpful and attentive.
Several guests enjoyed the hotel's location, describing it as close to museums, public transit, downtown, Central Train Station, shopping and the Van Gogh Museum. One reviewer remarked, "As for the location, I think it was a wonderful option - just a few tram stops from the museums, walking distance to a supermarket and restaurants (where everyone spoke English), yet away from the mayhem of other parts of Amsterdam".
