The hotel's location was enjoyed by numerous reviewers, who described it as safe and close to public transit, restaurants, shopping, a grocery store, the Champs Elysees, Opera Garnier, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and Galleries Lafayette. One guest remarked, "The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Europe metro station and is in an ideal spot for exploring Paris".
Many lodgers were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, modern, quiet, beautifully decorated and well equipped, with comfortable beds. Some patrons had complaints about their rooms, however (see below).
The hotel's staff were the source of several compliments by guests, and were characterized as friendly, bilingual and helpful with directions. One reviewer remarked, "Though the property is notable, the real distinction of this hotel is the staff and management. All our questions were answered with a smile and our needs were met or exceeded. Special consideration was given for my children. We were treated as if we were the most important guests in the city".
