The GoodThe majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with praise going to the hotel's staff, rooms and location.
The hotel's staff were the source of many compliments by reviewers. They were characterized as friendly, bilingual, accommodating and helpful with tourism suggestions.
Numerous guests were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, modern, nicely decorated, spacious and well equipped, with comfortable beds and efficient air conditioning. Some guests criticized their lodgings, however (see below).
Several travellers enjoyed the hotel's location, describing it as safe and close to public transit, La Sagrada Familia, Catalonia Square, bakeries and grocery stores. One patron noted, "The location of the hotel was almost perfect; near a big street so you wouldn't feel unsafe if going to the hotel at night (and you couldn't hear any noise to the room) and metro station just 100m away". A few guests did mention there were not many restaurants in the vicinity, however.
The Bad
While the majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were some common complaints about the rooms and the hotel's pool.
Although the majority of reviewers were pleased with their clean and comfortable rooms, some guests had complaints. They reported poor Wi-Fi, no coffeemakers or mini-fridges in some rooms, worn decor and small-sized rooms. (Some rooms do have a coffeemaker and/or mini-fridge, as noted above, so be selective when booking if these are important to you.) Street noise was also reported by a few lodgers.
The hotel's pool was a source of disappointment for a few guests, who found it to be very small. One patron remarked, "The 'swimming' pool is a joke - it's not larger than 5x5 meters and it's absolutely impossible to swim in a pool like this".
