The hotel's location was praised by many lodgers, who described it as central, and close to public transit, restaurants, attractions, Starbucks, the Chocolate Museum, Old Town and the Cologne Cathedral. One patron remarked, "The location is unbeatable. It was within walking distance of three Christmas markets, the cathedral, shopping district and countless international restaurants".
Numerous guests enjoyed the level of customer service they received while at the hotel, characterizing the staff as professional, accommodating and bilingual. One lodger noted, "All staff extremely professional, friendly and ready to help", while another stated, "the hotel has a family feel with it as the staff are very friendly and remember you when you return (and not just Reception desk)".
