"Staff was very nice. Check-in and check-out was prompt. There is a Hard Rock Cafe about two blocks away. There was no ice bucket in the room and no ice machine on the floor. The ice had to come from room service -- a BIG negative. The beds and pillows were very hard. It was like sleeping on the floor with a briefcase for a pillow. Smart elevators were nice. As soon as you hit the button, the most likely elevator to arrive first would illuminate its arrow. High speed internet was slightly overpriced. About $20 per day versus a typical $10. They had some Los Angeles TV channels and CNN, but no Fox News channel -- another Big negative."
