"My elderly husband fell while returning to our room from the hotel's restaurant. A hotel employee was delivering laundry to a room nearby and came rushing to help me get him on his feet and offered to help walk him to our room. I was both touched and grateful for her gesture and felt that it reflected not only on her own personal values but the values of the hotel as well. In addition, I'd like to add that we were the only Americans I saw there and were made to feel like cherished guests. When I travel in Mexico, a hotel, restaurant or even a pushcart being patronized by local people is in and of itself a great recommendation."

"While the room was average for the money I spent, if I'd spent their regular rate I would've felt ripped off. Lighting was very dim in hotel, especially bathroom, hard to get extra towels we asked for (there were 3 of us). HOWEVER they had a superb Sunday buffet breakfast, which made up for a lot!!!!!!"
