"When you select a hotel on the internet you never know what you may find upon arrival. The Gruener Wald was a great surprise. I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates fine service, modern spacious suites, chef-prepared cuisine, classy clientele, and a perfect setting. I spoke no German. The receptionist spoke English and attended to me in the restaurant and elsewhere to ensure my comfort. I enjoyed a 6 km jog right out of the hotel along well-marked forest trails. I would definitely return with my wife and kids."
