"Room type booked not provided when we arrived. Not told at check in had to find out when we arrived at the room. No appology or compensation given. All staff I spoke to about this including the assitant manager where obstructive and unhelpful. Even had to pay the price for the originally booked room type and when queried about this the assistant manager said both room types were the same rate. I knew this was not true but had no evidence with me to support this. Smile was something that all staff except the bell boy could not do. Cleanliness in the reataurant and the breakfaast room left a lot to be desired. Food and drink at breakfast was not replinshed. Although conveniently located for the downtown it is not the only hotel in the imediate area."
