The GoodThe majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with praise going to the hotel's staff, rooms and location.
The hotel's staff were the source of many compliments by reviewers. They were described as efficient, friendly, helpful and bilingual.
Numerous guests were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. The rooms were found to be clean, spacious, well equipped, tastefully decorated and quiet, with comfortable beds and linens and efficient air conditioning.
Several lodgers enjoyed the hotel's location. They found it close to public transit, restaurants, shopping, Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre, a convenience store, Century Park and Shanghai Science & Technology Museum. A few travellers had complaints about the hotel's location, however (see below).
The Bad
While the majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were some common complaints about the hotel's Internet and location.
Some lodgers were disappointed with the hotel's Internet service. They complained that only wired Internet was available in guest rooms and reported only a short cable was provided, which enabled them only to work at the in-room desk. These reviewers were also disappointed in-room Internet was not free and felt the service should have been included in the room rate.
Although several reviewers were pleased with the hotel's proximity to public transit, some guests were disappointed with its location. They found it to be too far from the city centre, The Bund and the city's financial district.
