The GoodThe majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with compliments going to the hotel's staff, location and rooms.
The hotel's staff were the source of many compliments by reviewers. They were characterized as friendly, professional, helpful and efficient. A few lodgers did mention some of the staff having difficulty communicating in English, however.
Several travellers were pleased with the hotel's location. They found it close to highway access, Fudan University, shopping, taxis and Shanghai's business district. It should be noted, however, that a few guests had complaints about the hotel's location (see below).

Although several lodgers were pleased with their spacious and comfortable rooms, some guests were disappointed with their accommodations. They complained about the lack of free Wi-Fi in some rooms, as well as dated decor, worn furniture and carpets, limited daily housekeeping and cigarette odours in non-smoking rooms.
While several reviewers found the hotel convenient for highway access and visiting Fudan University, a few guests criticized the hotel's location. They found it to be too far from the nearest subway station and the city centre and reported a lack of stores and restaurants in the area.
