The GoodThe majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with praise going to the hotel's staff, rooms and location.
Many lodgers were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They characterized the staff as efficient, responsive, bilingual, friendly and helpful with directions.
Numerous reviewers enjoyed their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, well equipped, spacious and well maintained, with comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi and nice lake views. A few patrons were disappointed with their lodgings, however (see below).
The hotel's location was complimented by several guests. They found it to be central, as well as close to restaurants, shopping, the airport, highway access, the waterfront, supermarkets, Al Noor Mosque and The Corniche. A few travellers felt the hotel was too far from tourist sites and downtown Dubai, however.
The Bad
While the majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints about the rooms and added costs.
Although numerous reviewers were pleased with their clean and well-equipped rooms, a few guests criticized their accommodations at the hotel. They reported strong musty odours, worn towels and furniture, cigarette odours in non-smoking rooms and dated decor.
A few lodgers complained about the extra costs they incurred during their stay. They found the added Wi-Fi charge and the cost of breakfast to be too expensive.
