Many lodgers were pleased with the hotel's accommodations. They described their suites as spacious, clean, luxurious, well equipped and beautifully decorated, with great ocean views. It should be noted, however, that a few guests had complaints about their rooms (see below).
Numerous guests praised the hotel's location. They described it as peaceful and relaxing, as well as being close to the beach, shopping, Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach, Walmart, several grocery stores and House of Blues.
The hotel's staff were the source of several compliments by reviewers. They were characterized as friendly, courteous, accommodating and efficient. A few guests had complaints about the hotel's staff, however (see below).
