Many guests praised the hotel's location. They described it as safe, central and easily accessible, as well as close to restaurants, highway access, shopping, downtown Rochester, RIT, Seneca Zoo and the University of Rochester.
The hotel's lodgings were enjoyed by numerous reviewers. They described their rooms as clean, spacious, quiet and well equipped, with good water pressure and comfortable beds and pillows. A few patrons had complaints about their rooms, however (see below).
