The hotel's staff were the source of numerous compliments by reviewers, who found them friendly, accommodating, helpful and efficient. One guest noted, "The very friendly receptionist said the rooms weren't ready but took my cell phone number and told me he'd call as soon as my room was available. It was less than a half hour when he called back saying my room was ready...great customer service".
Many lodgers were pleased with the hotel's location. They found it close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, attractions, public transit, Fager's Island, the boardwalk and Delaware.
Several guests enjoyed their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, quiet, spacious and well equipped, with beautiful ocean views, and comfortable beds and pillows. It should be noted, however, that some patrons were disappointed with their lodgings (see below).
