The hotel's location was praised by numerous reviewers, who found it to be close to downtown, St. Louis Cathedral, Bourbon St., bars, restaurants, Cafe du Monde, House of Blues, a casino and Jackson Square. One guest stated, "This is a perfect location that is very close to the trolley stops, many restaurants, shopping and the French Quarter. Also, it is only a short walk to Jackson Square and the Riverwalk area".
Many guests complimented the hotel's staff, characterizing them as efficient, friendly, helpful and professional. One reviewer remarked the staff were always willing to help give directions and respond to requests.
