The Good
Many guests enjoyed how close this hotel was to San Diego International Airport (SAN). The staff were typically considered helpful and the rooms and common areas clean. Overall, most guests found that this hotel provided a good value for the price point.
Some guests appreciated this hotel’s location right on the water. It provided nice views of the harbor. In addition, many guests also enjoyed the variety of dining options within easy walking distance of the hotel.
A few guests noted that there was coffee, fruit and warm cookies available in the lobby 24 hours a day and these reviewers enjoyed this amenity.
Guests who used the shuttle found it convenient and its driver personable and polite.
The Bad
Some guests found the room that breakfast was served in to be small. Guests also had problems with the food offered, saying that the selection wasn't diverse enough.
Some guests on lower floors complained of hearing lots of noise from traffic passing by.
A few guests felt the cut-off time for the shuttle (5 pm) was too early. The hotel is close to the airport, but far from downtown. Guests reported having to take taxis or public transportation, and recommended that if future travelers can rent a car, it's best to take advantage of the free parking.
Some guests who did take advantage of the free indoor parking garage had issues with having to carry their luggage from the garage up to the lobby.
