The Czech Republic, is, probably, the prime tourist destination in Central Europe, its capital, Prague, being among the most-visited cites in Europe.
Having been the capital of the Holy Roman Empire, Prague is the site of magnificent architectural treasures. There was also a flourishing Jewish community which bequeathed to the city much of interest to visitors. Prague's Historic Center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Among the UNESCO Heritage Sites are Český Krumlov in South Bohemia and Kutna Hora in Central Bohemia which surrounds the City of Prague.

Karlovy Vary Region has the two famous spas: Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) and Mariánské Lázně(Marienbad).
Winter Skiing is popular in the mountains of the Hradec Kralove Region.
Sport Events, theater and music thrive in Ostrava in the Moravia-Silesia Region.
Olomouc in the Olomouc Region offers great golf, theater and music.
In the Usti nad Labem Region we find Spas and cultural events in Teplice and horse racing in Most.
Great facilities for sports and hiking as well as a variety of festivals are landmarks of the Vysocina Region.
The Zlen Region with its extensive network of tourist routes is a paradise for the sports enthusiast.
