One
Pass for Two Countries
Traveling by train can be
quite luxurious and allows you to see as much as you want, at your own pace. In many
ways train travel is also much more leisurely than driving or flying.
The U.S. and Canada have
over 28,000 miles of scenic railways and one of the best ways of seeing both countries
is by purchasing The North America Rail Pass, which gives riders 30 days of unlimited
rides and stopovers in North America's two northern most countries. You can choose
from up to 900 different destinations.
For one affordable price
(ranging from $475-$674 depending on whether you'll be traveling during peak or
off season) - you can visit all the places you choose for your itinerary.
Visitors from abroad may
be interested to know that Amtrak offers six different USA Rail Passes, covering
different regions of the US. These passes are only available to permanent residents
of countries outside the US and Canada. The passes, which have unlimited stopovers,
are valid for 15 or 30 days. In the Northeast, there's also a special 5-day pass.
For those interested in
traveling in either California or Florida, there are also special promotions.
