Talking Rock Talks Green

PRESCOTT, AZ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Jul 01, 2009 -- Talking Rock is hosting Talking Green, a green building fair, on July 18, 2009. Featuring approximately 30 exhibitors, this fair is open to the public and will provide attendees the opportunity to explore options available for building or upgrading their homes to make them more environmentally sensitive.

Builders, architects and suppliers will be on hand to provide attendees with practical options for their homes that can offer peace of mind as well as significant money savings. Also in attendance will be APS, who will be educating guests on various programs and products that can reduce their energy costs.

Dedicated to serving as stewards of the land, Talking Rock has taken great strides to become an example for responsible development. --  Re-using coffee grounds from Coops, Talking Rock's on-site coffee
    house, as compost for gardens
--  Use of recycled office products, including paper and toner
--  Water conscious irrigation and landscaping strategies employed
    throughout the golf course and community grounds
--  Use of environmentally sensitive sanitation and cleaning products
